Gau Seva, or serving and caring for cows, is considered one of the most sacred and rewarding acts in Hindu tradition. According to the scriptures, the cow is revered as a symbol of divine motherhood and abundance, embodying the presence of all deities. By offering seva to the cow, through feeding, protecting, or supporting their well-being, devotees receive immense spiritual merit (punya) and blessings of prosperity, peace, and protection from negative influences. Gau Seva is also believed to cleanse past karmas, promote spiritual growth, and bring harmony within the home and family. It is said that sincere service to the cow pleases Lord Krishna, leading to inner joy, divine grace, and overall well-being.
